gay means happy

So what you did not know about my Houston trip was that during the trip I stayed at my sister's high school friend's house. That girl isn't the most girly looking person and she's a lesbian. Her partner is this kinda big black girl with dreads.

What?

My sister's friend's mom and brother were also there and I'm pretty sure for a parent (especially an Asian one), your daughter partnering (because they aren't married yet and they can't get married) with another girl is kind of weird, and it's a black girl as well. Asian parents deep down want their kids to marry other Asians (hopefully at least half the same type of Asian) and have kids and stuff. And then here comes this other person... Not only is that person black, that person is a her.

So this makes the 2nd gay couple I've seen in real life. The first couple i know took a while for me to find out (cause I was a kid the whole time).

Now some people would just say "oh as long as they are happy it doesn't matter."

And yea it's true. In this trip I saw my sister's friend's mom get along well with the black girl and my sister's friend's brother getting along well with the black girl as well. It was like real happiness and it was like golden to see people being happy even though there are those differences. Until you experience or witness it you don't really see just how gay those people are. (haha get it cause gay can mean homosexual AND happy)

Ok.

Bye.

Fun day

Today I woke up and then after eating pancakes I went to see some post-hurricane stuff. It was like a wreck even though it was like a few months back.

Then I was hungry and I wanted to go to Whataburger or Sonic and then we went to Sonic but they didn't have ice cream so they couldn't make their smoothies/milkshakes. (this is like going to KFC and they are out of chicken) so I had this Southern Style Chicken Burger from McDonalds which is a McChicken without everything but it still has the chicken and pickles.

AND THEN I WENT TO THE YAO MING RESTAURANT

The food sucks. There were a lot of autographed things. The yummiest dish I had there was the 'Yao Flavored Shrimp'. Basically it's shrimp coated in stuff then fried then put in this weird but yummy sauce. The rest of the stuff was pretty crap.

Then I went to the Toyota Center. The real thing. I stepped in and it was cool. You would think it was pretty rowdy but the arena was pretty dead. I was sitting behind a bunch of French people that were like GOO TO-NI!!! TO-NI!!! And kept clapping when the Spurs scored so it kinda spoiled the atmosphere.

Anyway the Rockets blew out the Spurs. It kinda sucks since T-Mac didn't play but I got to see future hall of famer Tim Duncan. I got to see Artest, Ginobili and Tony Parker so it was pretty cool.

Then I went to eat Krystal Burger. Krystal Burger is basically the White Castle of the South. It taste good. and yummy.

bye

Funny quotes I have heard in the americas

In a Justice/Awareness Club thing

"They sell their children as sex slaves"

"How much?"

"Like... 3 US dollars?"

"That's a pretty good deal"

About Barack Obama

"Barack sounds like a Chinese person trying to say black... Da new presdent is ba-rack"

My History Teacher

"So if Barack Obama and the other guy..."

There are more but I can't think of them right now. Duh.

I hate socializing

Everyday I keep asking questions with answers that I already know just to create some conversation.

so lame.

Homecoming is your face.

So I've been through 2 days of my first Homecoming week in USA. So from my understanding so far, you dress up and then there are games.

The first day all the Sophomores (that's me) had to dress green. I did that. The 2nd day was 'Public Service Vehicle' and I was like fuck that wtf is that so I just came to school like a normal person. Most of the other Sophomores came as Cops or Electricians or Firemen and one guy was a Garbageman.

Tomorrow's theme is like hip hop/gangsta. I will not go very overboard because there are real Gs in my school. Must be awkward for the real Gs.

So far the games were pretty funny and random. The 1st day, the first game was stuff a bench where there was like a big square bench and you stuff it with as many people as you can. The 2nd game on that day was tug o war, and it was very intense because there were like 500 people in each grade and they were split into 3 ropes so you had like 200+ people tugging on 1 rope.

The second day's first game was 10 man pass where you had to pass a grapefruit along 10 people without using your hands. Most people like used their chin-neck-chest to carry it but the Sophomores kept failing. The second game was an obstacle course but it wasn't really an obstacle course it was more like do random things and see who can do it the fastest.

But it was a pretty cool experience and it was pretty intense. The different grades participated against each other.

The people here have really cool signs for their class. For the Seniors it's the 'Dynasty' sign... It's like a diamond and like Jay-Z and Kanye West use it. You know that song Diamonds from Sierra Leone that goes like "Diamonds are forever... forever... forever..." and it goes "throw your diamonds in the sky if you feel the vibe" that's the diamond. Yea.

The Juniors are the class of '10 so their sign is like an X made with their arms. I'm not sure what mine is but I think it's like you raise both hands then you point an index finger on each hand because I'm class of '11 so each finger means 1.

Today I got free Sun Chips. For you uninformed Hong Kong fools they are like chips but they are made from whole wheat stuff and are meant to be healthy but they were pretty heavily salted so I'm not sure.

Anyway 3 more days of homecoming and then the dance! I still don't know if I'm going to the dance because I don't really know anyone going. But I might.

OHH

THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID OHHHHHHH

Seriously I swear I did not realize that until I pressed Publish Post. :D

That's what she said

I will try to write an entire blog post with sentences that are victims of THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID. And try and make some sense out of it. Starting now.

At first I thought it was going to be pretty hard. Ok I suck. I can do this all day. The work I have to do is so long. and hard. I mean there's like so much of it. Too much too digest at one time. Too much information. I can't handle the amount I'm given. It's not really that hard. There's just a lot of it. Today I ate a sausage. I swallowed it by accident.

Ok. Screw it. (that's what she said!)

This is too hard.

New Kanye Single is fire. And I can not stand my History class

http://www.zshare.net/audio/20487707e9a22124/

Just a snippet. I thought Love Lockdown was ok. I like Heartless a lot better.

IN THE NIGHT I HEAR EM TALK
THE COLDEST STORY EVER TOLD
SOMEWHERE FAR ALONG THIS ROAD
HE LOST HIS SOULLL
TO A WOMEN SO HEARTLESS
HOW COULD YOU BE SO HEARTLESSS???

Best auto-tuned verse ever (ok technically this is like a chorus/hook so it's not really a verse) but that owns anything that T-Pain or Lil' Wayne has done on Auto-Tune. It's better than what Kanye himself did as well.

Anyway.

Ok I was going to tell you guys how annoying my history class was but I'm hungry so I'm going to eat. Maybe later.

Since you are all itching your bumholes for an update

And there isn't much point since you're all out having fun during CAS Week.

Here is an update anyway.

The reason why I haven't been blogging much lately is because I slowly have more of a life! Yes I have people I can call friends. About the clubs, I ended up joining one because there weren't any fun sounding clubs and this one had free pizza (although I got an email from them and they said there would be chips and soda... How does that compare to pizza!? :( booooooo)

But um. There isn't a meeting for the club yet and it's not going to be this week because of some foodfest or something (eh?) and not the week after because it's homecoming week.

From my understanding homecoming is

Dress up funny for a week.

Then there is a dance where you ask someone to go with you <3

Being the sad and unadventurous person I am I am not going. Because it's just kinda weird. I know like... 2 or 3 or 4 girls or something and it would be kinda weird to ask and I also have no idea on what their plans are. I also have no idea what my friends are doing and they don't seem to have much interest in it so I don't really care. Maybe next year. :P

But um... Coming up in my life...

PSAT!! Again!!

Basketball try-outs... Wish me luck. I probably won't make it but you know maybe I'll be super on fire on the day of try outs then I get to play! :D

But yea I doubt that.

I currently have a kickass 96% average in Math. 1 percent more and I have an A+. Basically you need to be like perfect to get an A+. Damn.

I need to study for PSAT.

booo

#150 + Hello October!

Hi. This is another milestone in my blog. 150 posts and still going strong!!! Kind of.

So school is better. I'm still looking for my group of real friends but of course that will come with time. I'm gonna play some basketball tomorrow. I'll find out how good the people here are. It's not like super hax hax super skillz cause I'm in a pretty smart school. Our own school has no faith in the football team. Not a lot of people seem to be interested in basketball. Everyone is into football and we still suck. So I don't know. :)

Maybe there's like this super cool style of play here that I'm so good at and they put me as a starter.

Nah.

Oh. Sarah Palin REALLY is stupid. I can't believe it. She really is.

How the hell do I pronounce my name!?

Is it Jor-dan? Jor-den? Jor-dun?

is it Jor? or more like Gee-or

God.

Whatabout my last name? In Cantonese it is like LERNG. So in English it should be something like lerng with like a silentish r and g. Wtf. How did that turn into Leung? People keep trying to say Lee-ung. Or some people just say lung.

I wish my last name was something else. Like Chan. Or Lee.

But Leung looks pretty kickass.

It's just I have no idea how you pronounce it.

:(

And I have finally found the source.

I googled my blog's URL and I found out where those mysterious clicks are coming from.

http://schestowitz.com/UseNet/2008/May_2008_1/msg00372.html

There.

Things happen for a reason. *if you don't want to read the other posts because they're lame read this one cause it isn't*

I was being all cocky and confident on the math test then I get a 70% and 50%. I STFU and I now have a 93.2% average in Math. Then I get all cocky and said I was awesome and then I get a C for my Chemistry test.

What this means is God is telling me to stop being such an ass and focus on my schoolwork.

Thanks for the message I got it.

So this means I am no longer awesome. I will focus on my education and

dude I got a C in Chemistry and now my Chem teacher thinks I didn't hand in one of my projects so I get an instant F and now I'm riding a D average for my Chemistry.

That sucks so many balls.

I feel so sad. Even though I don't really have a D. But seeing my name next to a D is so sad. Actually this has happened before in Mandarin but that was Year 9 and that was just a silly year. Ms Chen kept giving us hardass dictations.

But yea. This C is a huge smack in the face for me. I get to stop thinking I'm mega smart and I get off my lazy ass and start studying.

And I still have to make like a real group of friends! The people here haven't known each other since last year. Most of them went to the same middle school and same elementary school and they've basically known each other for their whole lives.

It's crazy!

And now I actually have to start studying stuff and try and fit in socially. It all sucks big balls.

But yea. This actually sucks. I get to have a transitional period where the grades will actually affect which University I go to. They count the last 3 years and like maybe 4 (and I did fine in those Year 10 exams) and right now I have a fucking average of D in Chemistry (but I probably have like a B+) and none of the hard stuff has started yet. I suck balls at History (in my 3 years of History taking I have never gotten an A) and I must take like 4 years worth of history in 3 years and a summer.

It all really sucks. And I still don't have any like real friends. Which is ok for now so I can focus on my academics.

I am still hopeless at English. Although I write a lot of stuff in this blog, it is all informal and unless all the English writing exams are "write a fucking kickass blog post" I'm most likely going to end up with pretty shit grades.

I don't really have a problem with writing essays. I'm fine with write ups of stuff. But writing essays about books or poetry where you have to analyze and give your opinion is just fucking retarded. I hate those. I got a C for that A View From the Bridge essay.

I do not proof read my posts. Right now maybe someone stopped time and started typing stuff like I like eat bananas upside down and I would have no idea.

And the lesson here is... You do not just say "fuck that that's the way I am"

you say "screw it imma change it."

what have I gotten myself into. Now I have to proofread this shit I just wrote.

fine i'll do it.

Ok I just finished. I corrected 2 mistakes. I know this post is probably still all stupid and slang and informal but I don't care.

Ok I just got an email from my Chem teacher and he just asked me to resend the thing. So maybe he didn't get it the first time. Woohoo. I'm going to get my grade bumped up above that horrible D now.

Oh and also I broke my glasses. I stepped on them which marks the 3rd time I have broken them in 4 or 5 years. But it's fixable. It's just I don't know where to get it fixed.

You know if I end up getting into a good school like Stanford or something I will go back to this blog and be like

THIS IS THE POINT WHERE MY LIFE CHANGED.

And so will you because this blog has inspired you to study harder!

But you know what? This is going to be another one of those "Ok seriously I'm gonna work really hard now." It's so easy to say that. I bet all of you have said that. And you said that during like the holidays or something when you're not working. You need to take immediate action.

I learnt in this thing in English, if you see something happen and you don't act within the first 180 seconds of noticing, you're probably not going to do anything.

AKA you guys procrastinate which is what I've been starting to do a lot of lately. I get home from school, sometimes at 2, sometimes at 3. It's 4 o clock, I've opened the document with the homework on it and I still haven't done a thing.

It's amazing how I can just like zone out for an hour. None of you guys are online and I don't talk to anyone.

What the hell how is that possible.

And guys, if someone made a show out of me like Everybody Hates Chris and there's a laugh track on it (so you know when to laugh) it would be fucking awesome. I always think about it. There's always a moment where I'm like "if this was a TV show, it would be funny." but no one else laughs because no one understands how funny it is.

They need to make a reality tv show out of me. This would be Season 2: Jordan in America.

That would be badass shit you would all watch it.

But this blog is as close as you get.

Grades are so strange here

In general it is a 90% for an A, an 80% for a B and a 70% for a C. D is like 60%.

It's so ridiculous. I got a 75% so if I was in Hong Kong right now it'd be like aw man nearly an A!

Yea well good job I have a C!

DUDE THIS IS SO RIDICULOUS

I got 75% in my Geography test and I got an A.

ADGADALKGJAD

Man I am going to have to work super hard. I just realized my 93.2% (yes it is a .2 now) is JUST an A. 90% is A- for Math.

CRAP MAN

Holy Crap

I got a C in my Science test.

Monday, September 22, 2008

I am still awesome.

I am going to check my rankings again.

So I am 1 in better sense of humor

2 in studies harder...

Just because I am so intelligent and superior it doesn't mean I study hard. It just means I get it and you don't.

3 in a better smile!!

I don't smile a lot. Maybe that's what makes it so special. Maybe my smile is cute. And sexy. See I bet you're thinking of it now. :)

4 in Cooler

YES. I am cool. But recently I added this person who was even cooler than I was so I got bumped down to 4. You know what I bet since I added Jin he is fucking up my rankings.

Ok yes I should be 3rd in cooler. Turns out that person I added isn't as cool as me.

4 in Most Creative

What? When was I creative? I mean, if you look at this blog... it's just... plain. and white. and boring. But content-wise it is so good.

8th most popular

Stupid Jin keeps bumping me down. Also this person I added seems to be pretty awesome so I get bumped down 2 spots. :( But yea I am awesome.

8th most powerful?

Is this strength powerful or what. I'm not very strong. :(

9th rather get stuck in handcuffs with

Aw you guys just want to hold my hands.

9th most outgoing

which explains why I have so many friends here!!! Nah. Ok the truth. I have at least 2 or 3 (so that means at least 2) people I can talk to in every class.

9th can drink more

Yea dude one time when I was p6 or year 7 I was with bernice and nick at this party and then I like drank the whole gallon of Sprite or something.

OH. that. Yes. Ok. But alcohol makes me pee. a lot.

10th more useful

I know.

10th more entertaining

teehee

13th nicer

This is pretty cool. I never knew I was nice. Maybe it's recently I started turning more nice. Or not. I can't decide.

Oh dear 3 people said I was ugly.

For smarter someone said er.. ew?

Omg, he's so smart. ew!

and funnier someone said I was an ugly bastard

Omg. Russell Peters is so funny... ugly bastard.

WHAT that doesn't make sense.

I got 21 in sexier!! :D 8/10 people think I'm sexy. :D

and someone said ew to that.

Ok I got 9/18 in better taste in music that's dumb.

There is no 'better taste in music'

because that is subjective.

But good taste in music is diversity in music and being willing to explore different types of music. He/she does not just listen to what everyone else is listening to or just like some popular stuff. It's ok for an occassional Katy Perry though. She's awesome.

Right now I will just look through the leaders. Ok just some kinda popular-ish people.

That sucks.

Ok.

I give up. I think I got really bad for most cuddly. What the hell. I'm cuddly.

Why I am fucking awesome

Remember my 70% and 50% on my math placement tests and how the teacher was going to put me in a class with 9th graders?

well...

It turns out I'm still fucking awesome at Math and no one can come near me. Today I got 55/58 on the first actual math test and the only question I got wrong was this one where I forgot to make the - a + for like 2-(x-6) where you are supposed to make the negative inside the bracket a positive and it was multiple choice and they were worth 3 marks and it was an all or nothing type situation.

But basically, I am fucking awesome.

At math.

And I didn't revise. All I did was use that review sheet that was for homework and I actually skipped a few questions on it.

Now I have a 93.1% grade average. On all my tests I only got 1 question wrong except for the first one where I got 19/24 and I have a perfectly good excuse for that which is my schedule was slightly fucked up so I ended up going to the wrong class and that gay math teacher guy didn't cover some of that stuff.

So yea.

93.1% grade average is right.

And you know on facebook there is this thing called 'Compare People' and I am ranked highest in 'best sense of humor' which is like so damn true cause I am exceptionally funny so you have witnessed in my blog.

And the second one is 'most studious'

wtf?

Because during last year's exams, the only subject I revised was Science. And it wasn't even that much because the only stuff I revised were the things I knew so I can feel better about myself "oh yea I know density=mass/volume. damn i'm good"

Then I revised partially for Geography. I just got an A on that test so I'm fucking awesome.

Then I didn't really revise for any other subject.

I do not study. I really don't. I'm not saying this to sound like I'm a cool person who thinks it's uncool to study. I don't. It's boring. Where were the rest of you guys during the exams? I was on MSN all day.

And I didn't get much homework either.

Speaking of homework.

Fuck I have homework I have to do.

But I like posting on this blog because you can read about how cool I am.

School's a little better. I actually talk to people during all my classes and I hide in the computer rooms during lunchtime or do homework in the library. If you guys are ever up at 3am and want to have a chat I am your go to guy.

I talk to people in class. Really. At first I only have 1 guy I talk to but now I am expanding to at least 2 or 3 people in each class.

Yes. The computer room is a good hideout for Asian people. A lot of Koreans go there to watch their Korean dramas.

Speaking of dramas I'm gonna go be a pussy and watch 1 Litre of Tears because I heard it was very good and people in Hong Kong loved it so much.

OH SHIT NO I HAVE TO DO HOMEWORK FIRST.

Apples and Oranges

Recently I have been drinking a lot of orange juice. So I finally bought some Apple Juice. It tastes better.

Apple Juice is always sweet.

Orange Juice can be sour.

But when it comes to fruits it is slightly different.

Apples can be mushy. Mushy apples are really disgusting. Like super disgusting. I hate mushy apples.

Oranges are always just juicy so when you bite into it it's a bit like a drink. Yea it can be sour sometimes.

But I'd rather have a sour orange than a mushy apple.

Also apples get all yellowy and brown and nasty.

I have question.

If you got a piece of chicken and burned it in a vacuum would it turn into melted chicken? I know if you do it normally it burns but that's like the carbon in the air which oxidizes or something.

Mmm melted chicken.

Chicken gas!

I have been blogging a lot lately.

Because I have a lot of things to say and I have nothing to do.

I hate my iPod. It looks a lot better without the case but without the case it will get scratched so bad. I'm just worried about the back.

Whoppers

I think a while ago I made a post about how I despised Whoppers because Maltesers were superior.

Well I was wrong.

Strawberry Whoppers are the shit.

As in the good shit not the shit that comes out your butt.

My parents are so parent-y

My mom calls me like 2/3 times a day. Once in the morning, once after I come home from school and sometimes at night. My dad calls like once a day.

So in one day, I usually get like 4 different phone calls a day.

In these 4 phone calls, these are the type of questions that I'm asked

"How are you" - The answers is almost always FINE. or OK. If you ask someone how are you, you can almost always expect the answer to be fine.

"How's school?" - Mom, the last time you called me was last night. Right now it is the morning. I do not go to school in my sleep. Also, stop asking me this question everyday. There isn't a lot of stuff that happens at school each day.

"Did you eat yet?" - Does it matter? If I am starving will you cook me something and airmail it to me? Will you help me order Pizza hut?

"Is there a lot of homework?" - I think I've answered this one before. YES!

"Are you awake?" - No. I'm sleeptalking.

"Are you at home?" - No. I took the homephone outside home so that when you ask this question I can say no.

"Remember to wear more clothes!" - Sorry mom I will stop dressing like a skank.

But I understand this is all out of love and I love my mom and dad very much. :)

Man that sounded corny.

I am officially not the biggest nerd in my school

Not that I was ever really nerdy. Today I was in the Academics Center (room with Macs) and checking facebook and my email and stuff because I don't have anyone to talk to and there are no activities to do at lunchtime except for talk and eat lunch. So I'm checking facebook. (no i do not write blog stuff in the library because I do not want people to discover my blog!!!) and then this guy next to me logs on to fucking runescape.

Oh dear lord.

You're 15/16 and

WHAT

RUNESCAPE

unbelievable.

Facts about me #1

Because I'm bored as I drink this canned chicken noodle soup thing.

I will now reveal facts about me that you may or may not know.

I do not like a tomato on it's own. When it is cooked or made into something it is yummy. For example. A raw sliced tomato in a sandwich or tomato sauce or ketchup. But a raw whole tomato or a boiled tomato or a whatever tomato is nasty. The only plain tomato that I can kind of stand is grilled tomato.

I do not like strawberries on their own! But I love like smoothies with strawberry in it and strawberry milkshakes and ice creams and yogurts or whatever. Strawberry jam is good too. But a plain strawberry on its own? No...

I like sour cream on its own. I used to think it was weird but it tastes ok now with Nachos or whatever.

I like onions. A lot. Raw onions are ok if you put them in like a salad as it adds a bit of crunch and that weird raw oniony taste, but cooked onions are really yummy.

However I think sour cream and onion is the worst flavor of chips ever made in this world. Especially the Lays ones. The Pringles ones are quite nice but the Lays Sour Cream and onion has got to be the most foul tasting chip I have ever tasted.

Ya.

What the comments really mean

Because I was bored.

'pretty picture!' - you're not pretty/hot but the effects you added to it are nice.

'pretty<3' - you are not pretty but you kept posting pictures of yourself and no one comments on them so this person tries to be nice and says 'pretty<3', you then of course say thanks :)

'love it' - you're not hot but this person has to keep commenting on your photos everytime it changes just because she is your friend.

'stop being so pretty!!' - STOP POSTING SO MANY DAMN PICTURES OF YOURSELF!

'you guys are so pretty!' - your friend thinks you're a guy. No. It means one out of however many people there are in that photo look nice.

'i like your hair' - you're ugly. you're hair hasn't really changed but since your face is ugly and that person needs to comment on it since she is your friend she says this.

'nice boobs OR boobs alert OR boobies' - I noticed that you are flaunting your boobs on purpose because you are a slut and you know that your boobs are on display on this picture but you're using it to get a guys attention. The person who posted the picture now secretly hates the person that commented because the commenter pointed it out while the person who posted the picture 'didn't know' that her boobs were visible.

Either way, the boobs picture is still there until the girl gets over that guy.

'what program did you use?' - you enhanced the picture, bitch.

'i like your shirt!' - you ugly.

'i'm so jealous!!' - i commented on how hot you were, now comment on my photo bitch!

'where was this?' - you ugly. I really have no interest in where this photo was taken but man you ugly.

when no one comments - picture sucks. you're not pretty and you're not giving them anything to comment about. try again. next time wear a nice shirt so at least people can say 'i like your shirt'

when no one comments on like 10 photos - you are ugly/go lose weight

when you say 'thanks' - hahah yea bitch keep on commenting and tell me how hot i am!!

when you ignore them - you are pretending you didn't know how hot your friends tell you you are.

Top tip - Do not say "I look horrible here" because 90% of the time that's what you look like. The reason why you don't look as good as you think is because when you look in the mirror you automatically adjust your face so it looks better. That's the reason why you guys have to take the same photo 20 times before getting one you like.

Ooh a month in Americas

I think I've been in America for like a month now. Ooo.

Yea things are a little better now but like not as good as Hong Kong. It's cool that now I know at least 4 people read my blog. Or 5. or 6. They just don't comment.

HEHE

Anyway now I am sitting next to the super duper extremely pretty girl in chemistry. :D

Ok. Anyway I have to sleep now so I can wake up early to talk to you guys cause you guys like to talk to me. Thanks. :D

But yea everything is definitely a bit better now. So go me. I'm starting to make like a few more friends... Maybe in another month I won't be able to count all of them with my 10 fingers.

Guys you wouldn't understand ok it's not super easy not like when like Jessica came to school and then everybody was like ooh Jessica is new!!! then everyone adds her. IT'S NOT LIKE THAT OK!

Yea. But um... I guess this is all for now. Cause I'm kinda sleepy.

OH.

I am going to change 2 bad habits of mine because I saw people do it and I was like AWWW NASTY MAN!!! or um wtf...

1. Shaking my legs like a weirdo - I do it less now. But yea it is pretty nasty. This guy in my English class does it and our classroom is like this little standalone building on some of that foundation crap or whatever and the whole room just keeps shaking.

2. Mumbling! - There is this guy in my Math class who sits next to me and he's probably from Hong Kong (local) or like a localish international school guy (i'm actually guessing the latter now) but like it's not like I'm mean or anything but whenever he says something I can barely hear him.

So yea Imma stop those 2 things now. Go meee!!!!

Oh. In football today I scored a touchdown off this hardass catch. Then I made an interception but I didn't know what I was supposed to do so I just got tagged and then we used a down or whatever.

Football is a pretty fun game if there was like less contact.

HEHEHEHEHHE

bye.

I am a beast at football

Seriously man I'm so ownage I'm like the best passer touchdowner ever if like Peyton Manning is like a quarterback then I'd be like a 1back or like a 2back cause that's how much better I am than him.

Ok fine. But for someone who has been holding a football for less than a week I am pretty damn awesome. You should see how little my ball like flops side to side or whatever when it's in the air. I bet none of you can throw as well as Jordan. The PE Teacher should so put me in the football team as the quarterback so I can make some touchdowns. DAAAMN.

Jordan and the weird hacker

One of the weirdest things happened to me today. I was following one of the guys in Photography today and he had his little group and they went to find this hacker who was some short fat nerdy small kid sitting in the corner of the library with his laptop and all of a sudden they started paying him money or something and the nerd had like this 10 page Microsoft Word hacking scheme. Awkward moment. Good thing I had my sandwich to bail myself out I said I was starving and I needed to eat.

Me>iPod

I bought a 160GB iPod Classic and after a while I was like oh shit this is about time they release the new iPods. HA! Turns out the new iPod Classic is even worse than the one I have! It's like the middle between the 80 and the 120.

But still I win. I currently have the most practical iPod in the world. Take that!

Super hax

Yep.

Football

Today was the first time I played American Football in my life. Not a real football game but like catching and throwing like more than 2 times. I'm pro. I am the Michael Jordan of football. Which triggers a thought.

IMAGINE if

Michael Jordan never played basketball.

What if he was just like yo I'mma play baseball and he turns out to be a really crap baseball player (which he is) on the professional level. He would be like the Brian Scalabrine of baseball and people would make Michael Jordan jokes. So they'd be like "Yo I'm Derek Jeter!!" then someone would be like yea more like "Michael Jordan"

And in that 8 year span where he won 6 championships, just imagine Michael Jordan sitting in front of his couch in a small apartment with his children. He'd be like "Oh. Jazz won the championship."

HOW STRANGE IS THAT!?

There are probably like millions of undiscovered talents. Maybe you have one too. Maybe me. Maybe I was born to be the bestest football player ever but I was too busy trying to be good at basketball but in the end I'm just pretty average.

But now that I discovered all this it'll probably never happen.

Oh well there's always racewalking.

Answers

Seriously, like, you don't even have ONE friend? Like, not even in class?

I have one friend kinda. I'm his partner in PE. He's good at football but I don't think he's like good enough to be on the football team or he isn't bothered. I am talking to people more during class so it's ok. I talk to more people in History because I have history with freshmen and those people tend to be more open to talking to others. Or maybe it's just me.

Have you joined any clubs? No I don't know where they are.

What is the food like? Shit. I had it the first day. It was like reheated frozen pizza and chocolate milk. I paid $4.25 for it so I was like fuck this imma eat sandwich.

Some changes to my classes.

If any of you read about my classes, some of them changed. My Math and History classes switched around, which is fine. My new math teacher is like a hot math teacher (i know right?) and my History teacher is like some really old one. But she seems quite nice.

Ok nevermind I just got an email of that Summer math homework that I needed to do and she's like oh this needs to be done by Tuesday the very latest.

Fuck that.

But yea that Math teacher gives a lot of homework.

But she's hot ;)

Bahahahaha

Also I dropped Chinese and now I'm taking Foods. I need some certain like Foods credits or something in order to graduate so I need it. It's a very easy class from what I see. It's just like cooking and stuff. There was this cute girl in my Foods class that was like "If you put more ingredients... do you get more biscuits?"

AWWWWWW :D:D:D:D:D:D

Ok.

But yea time to do whatever Chemistry homework I was assigned. Cause obviously I have Chemistry tomorrow. I just finished this reading log that I was supposed to do.

And now I'm like doing homework and blogging and watching that Lindsay Lohan movie with 2 Lindsay Lohans in it.

Multitasking.

Bahahahhaha I'm a genius.

The Lindsay Lohan movie is cool.

Bye for now.

Don't forget to ask questions! :D

Questions and Answers

I will now be open to answering your questions so just leave a comment below with your question. I feel I must do this because I am bored and I need to interact with some of my buddies from Hong Kong. :D

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have any friends?
No.

Any hot chicks?
Yes. Plenty.

Aww some people actually read my blog. :D

And I'm doing some stupid read log right now about a book where there's this black guy and people are racist and stuff.

Hi

I'm still alive. School's ok. It's just I get incredibly bored at lunchtime because I have no friends.

What a saddo.

So yea for the last 2 days for the first time in my life I just kinda sat myself in the corner or somewhere by myself and I ate lunch. I felt so stupid and lonely. :(

But yea you know some people have been that person sitting in the corner pretty much their whole lives. So I guess I learned a bit of a lesson there.

And like a lot of you guys said you would read my blog but it's only Chris. Kevin (Teng) wanted to read it as well but I made it private in case someone discovers it. But I found out how to hide my blog so people can't see it when they click my name in that photo blog.

:D

But yea. I'm starting to talk to people more in classes so it's getting better. It's just the lunchtimes which are like the least favorite part of my day.

Photo class is pretty boring. That's the class where I'm like the most alienated so far and I don't really get most of the stuff. But yea. I actually added one person today. This guy in my PE Class. I thought he would be the key to me to knowing more friends but he was like "This school sucks. I'm just gonna graduate and get out of here."

At least we had one thing in common! :P

I also get a shitload of math homework. The stuff isn't really hard cause I'm super smart and I understand it. :)

But yea I'm coming back Christmas. Bye guys.

First day of school

So today was my first day of American school. I have a feeling that this blog will be discovered soon so I will not mention any names. Not that I know any names, seeing as I have no friends here.

awww :(

Anyway today was a slightly different day and tomorrow will be as well. I had all my subjects today. For you noobies that are curious I take Photography (because I am now a cool artsy person), World History (AKA History), Contemporary Writing (AKA English), PE, Chinese, Chemistry (HONORS!!) and uh... 'Algebra2/Trigonometry Honors' (AKA Math). Don't my subjects sound all cool and fancy? :D

So the first lesson I had was Photography. It was pretty cool and since this is the highest chance my blog will be discovered since there is this photo blog I will say she is awesome and amazing. Ok. But she's pretty cool. She's new to the school as well and she's like a pro photographer with her own website. So that will be interesting.

Second lesson was World History. I had to take this with Freshmen cause I wasn't here last year. I'm not really sure why I need to do that because I think if I take history with Sophomores it will be the same. I have no idea. Whatever. I haven't learnt anything yet but I got this hugeass textbook which luckily I don't have to bring to school. I never really liked History but looks like I will have to do it. Noooooooooooo.

Third lesson was contemporary writing (ENGLISH!!) It was ok. Nothing too special so far. I got homework and there's like this thing called 'turnitin.com' that I have to hand my work in to but I don't know how that works.

The fourth lesson was PE! There were like a couple hundred people gathered into one gym (the gym is badass I count 10 basketball hoops and like the walls and stuff are painted with GUNN and stuff.) And there was like a bit of introduction to the different stuff.

Fifth lesson was Chinese. I kind of cheated and I pretended my Mandarin wasn't too good so I can stay in that class instead of like doing Spanish or something harder. HEHE :D

Sixth lesson was Chemistry. The teacher is awesome! He's like a gamer and he has like all these XBOX/Halo/Guitar Hero stuff all over his room and he burned a gummy bear in some dangerous acid thing. He's really funny. :)

And the last lesson was Math. The teacher looks like the guy from What The Buck show and he was from Texas and he writes numbers kinda funny, but I think I'll do ok in Math unlike what my test scores suggest.

So all the lessons seemed ok. I just need to get used to some of the new stuff.

The school is all pimped out with Macs and all the desks had chairs built into them kinda like the old ICT desks that they threw away. But yea. I think nearly all computers I've seen at this school so far are Macs. Such Mac loyalists. Or it might be because apparently Steve Jobs lives here. Or so it says in the Wikipedia article.

Anyway, have fun reading this Chris. And tell Nick to read it he promised he would read it.

Oh the lunch here is so bad I paid $4.25 American and I got a slice of pizza and a small carton of reduced fat chocolate milk. YAY!

Monday, August 25, 2008

Holy Shit!

I just did a Math Placement test for my new school and I got 70% for Algebra and 50% for Geometry.

That's a new personal low!

:)

As you can see I have not really been committing to my blog much. Maybe i'll do more later when I start school so all of you (which is no one really. Maybe Chris if you're still here.) can see how I'm doing. I just got GTA4 for my PS3... It's pretty fun so far but then it's like really not much different from the others except the graphics are insanely good.

I finished assembling all of the furniture in the house (go me) and right now I'm sitting on the floor blogging with my sister's friend's Macbook (...) and eating Hawaiian food with my PS3 turned on on my 37 inch TV.

GTA4 is a fun game. It's kind of hard to play cause there might be a super swear word bit or sex bit coming up but yea. It's fun so far. I'm waiting for NBA 2k9 to come out.

I miss Hong Kong. It's weird how you can't just go home. This 20 year old apartment (which looks very nice) is my home. I can not just find some of my Hong Kong friends and be like hi let's be friends. No you can not do that. Because they are on the other side of the world.

I gave up on Warcraft 3. Well I haven't really. I might play it sometimes. I haven't even installed it on my computer but I installed NBA Live 06 already. :P which is a pretty crap game. I can't use my PC right now because I infected it with some malware crap that I bought over with my iPod (i put my files on it) and then it kinda spread then it got some key windows files then the spyware thing detected it and deleted it. Whoops.

So now I'm waiting for a Windows XP disk to save it. I have this deepass papercut on my finger. :(

Yea.

Whatever. No one reads this anyway.

Bye!

New post... In USA.

So I haven't updated my blog in a while. No I hvae not been playing Warcraft everyday. I kinda got bored of it. Anyway I'm in USA now. A couple of guys sent me off at the airport (thanks guys :D) and then I got on the plane.

At the boarding gate there were like so many Indians there must've been like 80% Indians I had to check to make sure I was going to San Francisco in case it was a flight to New Delhi or somewhere. So when I got on the plane I had to sit next to this Saddam Hussein look-a-like who kinda smelled bad.

So here I am in USA. I look kind of lost. It's pretty weird. Like I don't know what clothes I'm supposed to wear cause a lot of the brands are too white and some of them are too black. What the hell are clothes for Asian boys!?

But yea it's definitely different. I can just be kinda me and be so cool in Hong Kong but in USA I fee like I'm at the bottom of the food chain. People hang out in race groups. There's like a bunch of Mexican dudes together the Indian dudes stick together the white guys stick together and the black guys and all their homies stick together. And dude why do all the Asian guys have shaved heads!? Do I need to shave my head too!?

I have like a week or 2 left until school starts and you know I'm kind of looking forward to it to see how it turns out.

Graaaaaaaaaaaah

Ok.

I'm just waiting for the 100m hurdles thing then I'll go to sleep.

Oh I got a Sansa Clip :D

Wednesday, August 6, 2008

Hi

Nearly a month since my last post. Wow. In like 1 week I'll be on a plane going to USA and saying good bye to this amazing city that gets to be listed as a country like all the other countries. Aw man I'll miss Hong Kong and everybody I know here so much! I want to buy a I *Heart* HK T-Shirt. But like I'm never bothered to. But I really should.

Jelly Belly

So yesterday I went to MegaBox (That place is fucking huge) and I think it's like the first time I've been there since it was made. I went to the Jelly Belly store with Jamie and Francesca and I got 100g of Jelly Beans for like $19.9. The guy that was weighing accidentally put like 2 jelly beans more and it was like 101.5g but he couldn't do anything about it cause he can't put it back in so i ended up getting a little bit more!

So I had 100g of like 49 flavored assorted Jelly beans and DAMN they're good even though I got a lot of Bubble Gum, Orange, Chocolate Pudding and this yummy Strawberry one. They're all pretty good but I wish I had some other flavors. The Butter Popcorn one is crazy good cause when you eat it your whole mouth just fills up with that popcorn taste. DAMN!!

The Cantaloupe one is also pretty interesting. The Coconut one is really good.

GO JELLY BELLY!

0 Days Left. BYE SHATIN!

And there goes my last day! A lot of people signed my shirt... Cause I'm so popular. :D

I'll miss y'all.

Nearly 10 years with some of you guys.

Will mis y'all buds.

Awwww

Today I did some fun stuff after school. I ate lunch with Jamie and Katlyn and Thebes and Katlyn made these cool paper frogs that could jump.

Then I went to partay it up. Ben got some tonight! Go Ben!

Yea the partay was really lame cause all those stupid dancing parties are kinda dumb. Just sat on the sofa with Thebes. Priceless!

And I took some pics with people. I tried to open my eyes up so they wouldn't look as small. :D

Thursday, June 26, 2008

Wow... 1 Day Left!

And now there is 1 day left until I leave.

I don't even know what to say.

I got some people to sign my Explorer and I signed some peoples' Explorers.

I don't really know what to say.

It's just

Wow it's over!

:S

EDIT - Ok fine.

Today in the Final assembly these guys prepared a speech for me but Mr Webster didn't hint anything so they didn't do it. Such pussies!

Then as I promised I went to eat hot dogs with Edar. We had 2 each. Pretty disgusting after the 1st one. And I saw this Theresa Fu or someone who's a singer and I yelled out her name and then everyone was looking at me!

Woo!

No School today... 2 Days Left.

So school was canceled today because there was a Typhoon 8 today.

Meh.

3 Days left!!

So I managed to return all my textbooks except for my Business Studies textbook which I will return tomorrow. So it's pretty weird. It's nearly over! I remember one Business Studies class was really funny. I took all of Sneha's pens and then she was like give them back to me! Then I'm like here you can have the brown one back cause you're... :) (indian) then she was like THEN YOU CAN KEEP THE YELLOW ONE! Then I was looking at this yellow pen in my hand.

...

IT WAS FUNNY AT THE TIME.

Today was pretty normal. I'm sure I did something yesterday that I forgot to put on my blog because I was thinking about it. Maybe I'll think of it later.

So today at Long Break Sneha bought me some corn (YAY!!) then i started flicking corn at everyone cause it's funny and I like it. Before Jack and Co. started throwing bits of chicken at me. So that was pretty bad. But I threw lots of corn at Francesca (OMG U GOT MENTIONED!!!111!!).

In English I continued drawing people after I drew a very good Boris at the back of my English Anthology. Today I drew Pavan and Mr Parker. I would take a pic and post it up here but I'll do it when I leave if Mr Parker ever stumbles upon my blog he will not try to attack me.

Oh Mr Parker got hit by a Taxi last Friday or something. Wow! And he like made his girlfriend blind for 5 minutes. Then everyone's like aww the taxi driver was such a dick then Francis asked Mr Parker if he was like jaywalking then all of a sudden he's like ohh I very well may have been!

Tut tut.

Then I played like an hour of non stop basketball. I kept owning Edar. Hahah. Edar sucks!! And he's really lame. But whatever. Sometimes i eat hot dogs with him. I'm going to eat hot dogs at IKEA with him tomorrow after school because it will be like the last time. So yea. Woo go lame Edar!!!

Oh in Math we played battleship and Nick kept going like oh want to use an atomic bomb it's like a 3 by 3 bomb. Which was really stupid. I lost. :(

But Battleship is a stupid game anyway so I don't care.

Oh in Geography we watched Zoolander. I watched a bit of it before. It's really lame/funny. I'm trying to think of other things to write but I can't really think of anything.

Oh well.

Tomorrow will be more interesting. Business Studies + ICT + Mandarin!!

4 days left...

Yes those are the headphones. Sexy shiz right thur!!

So today was the first day of my last week of school. It's nearly there. Today Math was just the usual. Ms Preston wasn't here for iPSE so the last time I get here in a lesson is probably like last week.

Ms Preston is a pretty good teacher. Her lessons are always interesting and she always pauses before she says the last word in a.... sentence. Like..... that. Then everyone naturally wants to say the last word. Why the hell does she do that!?

So yea Ms Preston is probably one of the cooler teachers. In like my first Monday of Year 10 I was in her iPSE class and she asked who was smart and I said I was and I was sitting there with my bag still on and she was like "Yer smart? Oh yer've still get yer bag on!!" or whatever and then everyone started laughing at me.

Then in my first biology lesson she like did a replay of what I did and yea.

And I always got told off by her because I didn't do homework and I didn't pay much attention in class. But yea she's still pretty cool. I guess.

Today I went to watch this Singapore school (Australian International School...) play our school. They had a boys team and a girls team that were on a basketball tour. That's a pretty cool thing to do.

Their girls team like owned ours. There was this one girl who was number 67 and man she was really good. She throws all these excellent outlet passes from like further than half court that those girls can catch with ease. And she gets bonus points for looking pretty hot as well! :P

Our boys team like owned their boys team. Most of their team were just some kinda tall white guys except for this one Chinese guy that I met back in SEAMC. His name is Yixin and Paul knew him as well when he was in Singapore. Small world huh! That's like the first time I ever felt like saying that. Paul knows someone that I met in Kuala Lumpur while he was in Singapore and he comes to Hong Kong!

Then I went to ICT and I just messed around like I did in English. Mr Dickson is the coolest ICT teacher in our school. Owns Ms Marshall and Mr De Melo. He's the best at ICT, the funniest and coolest and whatever.

Then I went back to watch the game and I showed up late to Chemistry along with some other people and then me and Brian ( :( ) did some stupid experiment with SILVER nitrate. Cool!

Oh Brian threw one of his beans on my shirt today so I stuffed it down his shirt.

:D

Then in Chemistry Mr Lewis caught us touching each other AGAIN :(. Then we kept putting the pink salt solution into each other's pens.

LAME!

My first pair of headphones!

Yay. What an artistic photo.

So yea those are my first headphones. The Denon D1001. When I went to the store and went to test them these haters were like wtf when I was testing them, probably cause I was using a 1G iPod Nano that has poorer sound quality than whatever player he is using. To be honest I couldn't really tell much difference at the time. But after a while they seem to sound better. I'm still listening to them now.

Now you guys must be like Jordan you're high who bombs $1000 dollars on headphones!

Well here.

I listen to a lot of music. I probably have more songs than you! 15183 songs in my library and it's growing! Ok to be honest I haven't properly listened to maybe half of those songs... But still that's like 7591.5 songs. Like 5000 more than most of you guys who have 'lots' of music! Bahahah

At first I thought I was only going to use these headphones for homeuse because they looked really big in the pictures, but when I got them they actually turned out to be ok, so maybe sometimes I'll take them out. I'm not always going to though because I'm scared I'll break them and people are going to look at me. Also they might be like wtf at me because I'm using an iPod Nano for some $1000 headphones!

So wtf. There goes $1000.

They are really comfortable though.

So whatever.

My first headphones, and probably my last pair.

:)

Halfway there... 5 days

Wow. So I'm halfway there. Today was a more meaningful day to me than any of the other days. In Business Studies I was like trying to play Halo off my thumbdrive... And it worked! What a rebel! Then we watched someone's Drama performance and Brian Kwong stole Darayus' Fruitips and then I got an orange flavored one. Oh and I was like sitting down then when I stood up I farted twice. Then after a while I felt bad so I told everyone.

But they weren't the yummy ones because there was no sugar on it. So it tasted kind of weird.

Then after that there was PE. That was my last PE lesson here and we just played some games mostly. The team I was on was ownage! Then that will be like the last time I go up to that gym and try and sneak in to the lift and put balls away and stuff. Aww.

Then it was form period and we just messed around and read the Explorer and shizzle. Then after that it was long break and I ate this really yummy cupcake! It was like this yummy cake and then there was yummy icing on it and then there was sugar sprinkled on it. That was really good. I like put the paper in my mouth because it was that yummy.

Wooo.

Then I played some basketball. I think. I don't know.

Geography was next and like I just fucked around because the next lesson is going to be a movie lesson. I humbly marked 20 out of 20 for my mini test and I got an A*. :S

And we watched some real boring shit. Tomorrow is the Summer Solstice so whoop whoop. For you Geography n00bs Summer Solstice is like the day with the most sunlight. For us that's like June 20/21 cause we're in the Northern Hemisphere.

That's some geography for you!

Oh I poked Purple twice.

Then after Geography I had Physics. Mr Hodgson was away for most the lesson and I was just nodding at all this Kinetic energy shizzle.

Boo.

Then afterwards I went to eat Sushi with Sneha in Sha Tin and I even went to the dentist with her! But her mom was coming and it was going to be super duper awkward so I decided to leave, but when I left her mom came in and I had to open the door for her and yea that was pretty awkward too cause Sneha told her mom that her friend (ME!!!) would be there.

Then I decided to head home... But I was like NOOO I must make the most of this! So I phoned up my buddy Jamie who was in Festival Walk and I went on the KCR to Festival Walk and I met Jamie, Sam NK, Claire, Sydney, Claudia PilZZZZ, Katlyn... And I think that was it.

I haven't talked to Sam for a while since Year 9 when we were in the same class for like 3 years. (.3 wooo!!) so yea it's pretty funny how a few different classes can mean everything on yo friends. But yea it was pretty fun. In H&M she like put all sorts of make up on my face and then like me, Claire and Sam had this put eyeshadow on each other contest. I was the worst cause I got like this nice tan stuff on my face and I had some very untidy blue eyeshadow above one of my eyes and all this shizzle. Boo.

Then I just walked around randomly and did whatever I felt like. I like lent Jamie 20 dollars. A 20 dollars that I didn't lend last time and I got into a bit of trouble. :P

Then like Claudia and Sydney and Katlyn left. Then later Claire and Sam went to toilet then Jamie decided to leave and I was going to leave with her.

Then I got hugs from Claire and Sam. Whoop whoop!

Then I was planning to get my headphones that cost $1000 (Denon AH-D1001K!!!) but Jamie was tired. So like she left and I just went home.

So today was a pretty fun day.

I've never eaten Sushi with an Indian before. I've never been to the Dentist with someone else before. I've never had this who can put more make up on each other thing before, and when was the last time I lended $20 to someone!!?!?

:P

PEAZ OUT!!

Oh the top half of my iPod Nano's screen kind of died. Maybe the radiation from my iPhone? :S

Thursday, June 19, 2008

6 days, I forgot to submit yesterday's one.

So today, I bought the yearbook. And like I've already seen most of it so yea. There goes 200 dollars! But you can all sign it. :) Today at school... I did some Math. Math lessons are really simple. Just do the work that Mr Imeson tells you to do on the board and if you don't finish it's homework. That's basically it. Then in Physics I wasn't really paying attention because there was all this energy stuff and in the end it's just going to end up being a few formulas that you have to remember. I just wasted all this time in my English lesson cause Mr Parker was gone for like the 3rd straight lesson and we had no idea what to do. I read this story called The Necklace where this woman loses someone else's necklace and it was like this really nice diamond one and then the woman and her wife look everywhere to find an exact one and paid all this money for it and then they were in debt for like 10 years. Then one day she sees the woman that lent her the necklace and it turns out the necklace was an imitation of that really expensive one.

OWNED.

Then I said that woman was really responsible and shizzle.

:D

Then afterschool I saw Jennifer Martin woooo! And I was going to be a man and like whip out my umbrella but then I lost it. :S

Then Tracy and Jamie came along and Jen left and then I decided to tag along with Tracy and Jamie cause I need to spend some quality time with them! So they went to Quiksilver/Roxy then I tagged along.

Then afterwards Jamie was going to go home and I went home as well even though Tracy wanted me to stay but I didn't cause it would be awkward (SORRY TRACY I HOPE IF YOU EVER READ THIS YOU READ THIS AFTER I LEAVE). But yea, then I saw Geoffrey (Su) with Melissa (uh oh!!) and I bought this yucky chocolate stick thing that Jamie wanted to buy cause I was feeling nice today and I bought it for her. But I had some too.

But it tasted like shit.

And I even offered it to Geoffrey and Melissa before I took a bite! That's like the first time I offered something to someone.

I'm such a selfish little dickhead!!

But yea then Jamie got on then I started listening to my iPhone and then I went home and now I don't know where the fuck my mom has gone.

7 days

I'm pretty sure I did some meaningful things today. I managed to get Sneha really really pissed at me in Business Studies, I find out how to disguise things on your computer by renaming the folder to something else then changing the icon. (Me and Ferdinand hid one of his folders and it looked like a Halo crack). Haha.

K.

I'm watching Bobby Lee videos now.

They are really funny.

8 days left

And there goes another day! Still haven't made much of a difference. Today I bought a math book if that meant anything. I had to leave at lunchtime to get my passport renewed. At the US place they were really strict and didn't let people bring in mobile phones and shizzle so I had to take those stuff out. There was like this kids play area and there was like this mixed Chinese/Latino girl, this really ugly white girl and this little Jewish kid. The Chinese/Latino mix girl was really cute and pretty (ok she's like 3) and then the ugly white girl kept trying to take her boat and play with her and then that girl was like no and kept ignoring her. Then the white girl decided to share by giving the girl one of her little doggy toys but the Chinese/Latino girl just like fucking threw it away.

Ouch.

But yea. Today was a pretty normal day. English lessons are always really interesting but also have a lot of work so I have mixed feelings about missing that lesson today. Mr Parker is a pretty cool teacher.

Oh. I broke one of those plates at school today. That's something I haven't done in my 4 years at Sha Tin College! Wooo!!

100th post and 9 days left!

Ok it's like 10:37 at the time of that word I typed. I was going to go to sleep then I suddenly remembered my 'blogdown' to my last day at school.

So it didn't turn out to be as meaningful as I thought it would be. Today was pretty normal except I held and opened some doors for people and stuff. Nothing worth blogging about and nothing I was exceptionally proud of.

Maybe hanging on that shortened netball hoop? That's pretty fun. Pretending to be an athletic black dude and doing dunks when you're just dunking on like a 6 foot something rim...

It's fun!

If there was a backboard it would be much cooler but what the heck.

So ya today wasn't that meaningful. Come on Jordan you have to make the most out of the 9 days you have left!

Counting down the days... 10 days left

So wow, it's finally come down to this. In many many many blinks of an eye, I only have 10 days left in Sha Tin College. The same place I've been going to school since I was like 5 (if you include Sha Tin Junior) so wow. Going up that same hill for like 10 years, and soon it's going to be all over, so with these 10 days left, I'm just going to do some meaningful stuff and I will blog about it, and you guys can find out some new stuff about me that you never knew before and you will all read about it because you all love reading my blog!!

So after today, there are officially 10 school days left. I guess I'll describe what happens today because today was pretty interesting. So today was the ESF Swimming Gala thing. I get progressively suckier each year (I actually improve I just don't improve as much!) and I swam 50m butterfly and I came last (wooo) so there goes my last ESF Swimming Gala. Well even if I wasn't leaving it would still be my last one because it's for year 7-10.

So yea good bye swimming! Swimming's been a pretty big part of my life so far. I started swimming when I was like 5 or 6 in my Darth Maul swimming trunks that were red and black and I just kinda kept doing that until like year 7. I was like on par with Nick (BELIEVE IT!!) until he started beating me by a lot then I was like meh... then I stopped. True fact - Nick didn't want to do 100m freestyle in Year 7 cause he was scared he would lose to me!! :P

But of course that was changed over the course of the last 3 years. Nick swims like 26 seconds for 50m freestyle and keeps breaking school records in random time trials, and the only water I've been around is in the shower and the sink.

Anyway, our school has like this pretty good record with the Swimming Gala, winning it 7 times in a row and like winning quite a few before that. It's always a tight race between Sha Tin and KGV. This year was no different with like a tighter race than ever before! The difference between us was 1 point and when the score announcer guy was saying it, everyone was pretty damn nervous, thinking about that 1 point. If you could have just swam a little faster in that one event, maybe if you were a little faster on your dive. And in the end Sha Tin wins again for the 8th time in a row.

So I learnt that down the stretch, every point counts. This applies for exams as well, as us Year 10s have been taking mock exams lately. The difference between getting an A or a B, a Pass or a Fail could very well come down to 1 point, so every point counts, but then even after this I'll just probably overlook that crap and make some silly mistakes due to being plain silly or lazy or whatever, but what I just wrote sounded really cool so I don't care.

Anyway, so after swimming thing we got on the bus to Sha Tin and I had dinner with Nick, Bernice, Sydney, Purple, Kim and Angel (who wouldn't give me an onion ring :() and it was pretty stupid. The waiter wouldn't give us water and I ate like a $49 (original price $98) hamburger and I ate some fries and I got 1 onion ring!

Then we (not Bernice her mom didn't let her even. Purple like got on the phone and asked her to let Bernice watch then after that her mom was like wtf. I got to talk to her too but I didn't know what to say so I just said hi.) watched Prince Caspian, sitting in the front row. At the end of the day, even if you sit in the front row, if you can just like be with your friends and be watching a movie, you'll be happy. Purple kept telling me what was going to happen in the movie "oh this part is really sad" or "oh this part is really funny" but you know, who cares! It was a pretty good movie. I remembered trying to read the book a while back but I got really bored real quick. Yea it was pretty good. The Dearest Little Friend guy was pretty funny.

Then after that I went home. It was raining like crazy but thankfully my mom picked me up from the station, so now I'm home and from that moment I got this idea to blog a countdown thing to my last 10 days of school.

So here it is.

Days left in Sha Tin College: 10

Oh yea, you know I said I wanted to get that iPhone 3G? This will have to do until then.

Presidents and NBA - CONSPIRACY!?

So I was watching the news this morning and I saw Obama get all excited about the Olympics in Chicago and stuff. Now the Chicago Bulls won the number 1 pick in the NBA Draft lottery, and Obama is a Chicago native who loves basketball....

CONSPIRACY?

IS OBAMA MAKING THE BULLS RESTORE THEIR LEGACY BY MAKING THEM GET THE NUMBER 1 PICK?

IS NBA MAKING THE BULLS GET THE NUMBER 1 PICK SO OBAMA WILL GO WATCH NBA GAMES?

A little bit more... In George Bush's 8 years of Finals that he could experience as president, a Texas team made the finals 4 times, and the years they didn't make the Finals, there was a Texas team either in the Western Conference Final or in an earlier round being eliminated by the eventual champion.

UH OH!

NBA Finals Game 1 - Random thoughts

KG likes shooting that J. I never watched a lot of T-Wolves/Celtics basketball so I thought he was like a power dunker guy because he was on NBA Live. Guess I'm wrong. He shoots way too many Js for a guy with his strength and speed.

Kobe Bryant is actually a better team player than people give him credit for, but in crunchtime his I AM KOBE BRYANT instinct kind of takes over and then he will only pass to guys that he trusts, so Pau Gasol. The Machine was open at the 3 point line with no one even close to the passing lane or close to contesting him before he gets a good look and shoots but he decides to go Kobe style and do it himself.

Maybe KG should try shooting 3s? He receives the ball at the 3 point line then steps in to a 2. He's pretty open at the 3 point line and he's not a bad 3 shooter himself. If Chris Bosh does it then so should KG!

My predictions for the Finals and NBA JAM!

I'm going to say the Celtics will take this series in 7. It'll be a classic. Kobe is excellent but like on a 1-10 scale, if Kobe was 10 then Ray would be like 7 Pierce would be like 8 and KG would be like 9. Gasol might be like a 7 and Odom like a 6. Ok but enough of this 1-10 shit. I think Celtics will drop a few games that they could win because Doc is a fucking retarded coach.

Celtics have a lot of X-Factors, so they have a pretty amazing team. Best Big 3 in the league with some of the best x-factors. You can expect Rondo to give you 20 points in a game or 2 and some huge plays and you can expect Perk to be like a double double machine and outmuscle Gasol.

But yea don't sleep on the Lakers. Kobe is a bitch to stop, Lamar is playing his best as a Laker with the Gasol trade and Gasol is awesome. Fisher, Walton, Vlad Rad and THE MACHINE are all shooting good throughout the playoffs and will get a lot of open looks with Kobe and Lamar/Gasol in the post.

So it's going to be a good series, but I think Celtics just have more determination and more skill to pull this one out.

Recently I've been playing NBA Jam and NBA Jam Tournament Edition with my ZSNES and even playing online with KY and it's a pretty damn fun game. The graphics suck dick, but the gameplay is like crazy fun. Nothing is realistic about it but it's fun and that's all that matters. :D

To my good friend :)

I'd like to dedicate this one to a special someone (no not my girlfriend i don't have one.) And you know who you are. I don't know how to say this so that it isn't corny but cheer up and be happy! You've been through and you are going through a lot and yadda yadda but sometimes if you just let go and think of some happy stuff it'll make you happy!

Just live in the moment! Don't need to worry too much about the past. What's done is done. Don't worry too much about the  future too. When it comes, it comes. Hehehe comes. I'm leaving after this year too and yea life will be different in USA but wtf why am I worrying? Worrying's not going to help. I'll just not worry so much and do what I have to do when it's there.

Ok that was really corny, but whatever.

Love ya! :)

My exams and my new hobby!

I'm done with 5 of 8 of my exams. None of them are like killer hard but none of them are killer easy. Except for like Mandarin cause that was like really damn easy.

So now I am going to be a nerd and be a comic book nerd! I just finished 'getting' these comics from an undisclosed source. It's like an Ultimate Marvel pack. This Ultimate series is like a remake of all those comic dudes so that all the new readers (like me) can read those comics without trying to find comics from the 1950s to find out the origins of like Spiderman.

So yea, I'm gonna start with Ultimate Spiderman, cause Spiderman is Spiderman.

Outside of that, today I just finished Season 1 of Gossip Girl which officially makes me up to date on 2 shows, Heroes and Gossip Girl. The fact that both of these shows have new seasons coming up in like fall has everything to do with it. All the other ones are busy making new episodes so I'll like never be able to catch up.

Boo.

So now I'm back to my TV Show watching schedule. I am slotting in One Tree Hill in my Gossip Girl slot and I have replace My Name is Earl with Justice League, cause My Name is Earl is pretty lame. It's ok to like watch a random episode of it on TV but watching it on your computer is kind of lame and it's not that funny.

Celtics and Lakers both take Game 1

Wow. I haven't even checked the recap or anything even though I've been home for an hour. I'm busy with my Science revision. I remember when Kevin checked the score today for the Spurs/Lakers game the Spurs had a comfortable lead at halftime and extended it a bit further and had it at like close to 20. The last time I checked was San Antonio with a 7 point lead. Kobe Bryant was playing like a piece of crap. Then in English when I checked again, the Lakers somehow won.

Wow. Kobe with 25 second half points, pulling off a 20 point with like 1.5 quarters to play.

Talk about MVP.

That's your MVP right there.

Now I wasn't born yet when the Lakers/Celtics rivalry was around, but I've read about it. This rivalry is about to be renewed. If the Lakers and Celtics both make the Finals it would be one heck of a final. Both of them are the more exciting to watch of the remaining Conference finalists and they both have one heck of a history against each other. So it's going to be crazy.

Wow.

OMG THA PLAYOFFS R EXCITIN!!

Watched Game 7 of the Celtics/Cavaliers series. It was a great game. Celtics took command early but the Cavs chipped away and made it a ball game. LeBron's missed free throw at the end was huge... Ray Allen with some huge free throws near the end to put the game away. It was a good game. LeBron and Pierce were both crazy as both of them went off for 40+

Ray Allen still hasn't really shown up for the playoffs, shooting some pretty poor percentages but I kind of expect this to change for the Pistons series.

Really it's about time for Ray.

So tomorrow (or tonight) is the Game 7 of the Hornets/Spurs series. The home team is like 21-1 in the playoffs this whole second round, so it looks like the Hornets will be winning this one. Chris Paul is incredible, but I don't like him.

My prediction for the Pistons/Celtics series is Celtics in 7... Again.

Wow.

I'll see who wins the Hornets/Spurs series before I make any predictions, but I think the Hornets are taking this one.

Saving the environment

So you know you always hear this environment shit.

I've been a good boy.

It's like halfway past May and I have never used the air conditioner at home.

For those international readers that there seem to be quite a lot of, in Hong Kong every home (except for those really rundown ones) is like fitted with an air conditioner because in the Summer you just need it. Not every home is fitted with those heating systems because it never gets that cold in Hong Kong.

So all I've been using is my little fan.

Go me. And I'm one of those people that sleeps a lot easier with a blanket. I always sleep with a blanket. Even in the summer. I guess I'm kind of a bitch like that because prior to this year I'd wrap myself up in unnecessary layers and be hotter and like turn on the air conditioner when I can just sleep without a blanket.

I don't know that's like the only actual sleep habit I have. Some people need to listen to music to go to sleep, some people must sleep in complete darkness... For me I just need a blanket. I just feel a lot more comfortable that way. Maybe everyone is like that, I have no idea because this is not something that I usually talk to people about.

I don't really have any other unusual sleeping habits. Lately I've been listening to music as I fall to sleep.

So yea, no air conditioning. Good for me. We use enough at school. In school all the teachers blast air conditioning all the time.

Buying new earphones!

My iPod earbuds are really crap. And so are yours probably, unless you bought one of the newer iPods, so in your case they're slightly better. I think.

But still, they suck. I was listening to them on the train the other day and I remember why I stopped using my iPod. Because listening on the train was as good as not listening unless you turn the volume up pretty high.

Recently I've started listening to my iPod (1st Gen 4GB Nano), mainly because I was going away to SEAMC and I needed some entertainment other than quadratic equations and the lot. So I took out my iPod again, and used playlists for the first time so I can pick about 600 songs onto my iPod Nano. The packaging and the website kinda promised 1000 songs. Oh well. 400 songs. Same difference.

So one time on basketballforum.com, a forum I frequently go to, someone started a thread on headphones. I took a look inside and some of those guys were discussing stuff like how Bose was complete shit for their price, and someone posted a link to this audiophile forum, called head-fi.org.

Curious, I go on the website, and before long I find myself wondering if I need an upgrade from those iPod earbuds myself. I started a thread with all the specifications and I got recommended some full size headphones called the AKG K518DJ. Below is the headphone that people kinda recommended. I found a headphone place in Hong Kong that sold them for $450, which is pretty cheap considering how far these headphones can go.
But obviously, with a set of headphones like that, I am not going to get any looks from people and I will be able to put it in my pocket comfortably.

So I asked for some earphones, and for those audiophiles if you were gonna get those you're gonna go in ear, also known as IEM. I got recommended like these really n00b ones and this pair called the Head-Direct RE2. Head-Direct is a relatively new Chinese company and the only place you can buy them is like from their website.

Today, after Mother's Day food shopping at Taste in Festival Walk, I decided to stop by Broadway to see if they had any of the headphones mentioned. The n00b ones (JVC Marshmallows) were there, in black as well for 188. I had money so I decided to buy them.

I got to try them like right away on the bus and man, what a transcending experience! They're the noob ones as well.

From a pretty normal person's point of view who still listens to music with the built in speakers in his monitor, it was quite a difference. The sound sounded a lot more thick and powerful, a lot of the extra background noise like the engine of the bus was blocked out.

I liked pretty much everything about it. It looked really normal, they were comfortable. The noise cancellation was perfect for me. Blocks out most background noises but I can still hear the thing telling me what the next station is and I can hear Indian men talking. My mom has this issue that those noise canceling headphones will cancel out like fire alarms and cars honking if they are right about to hit me. Since most of the background noise was gone, I could put the sound to a lower more comfortable level.

And all that can be had for 188 at Broadway! I probably could've gotten them cheaper if I looked, but whatever. They're cheaper than those iPod earphones, so next time they break and you're looking for a pair of cheap earphones, the JVC Marshmallow is the way to go. They come in lots of different colors as well if you look around. Here's a pic of my new earphone and my pretty good condition iPod Nano.

Ok. I don't know how to rotate it in this blog thing. Oh well. If you really want to know, it's Rising Down by The Roots. No I don't 247 songs in my music library. I just put what I feel like on my iPod Nano. Sometimes I load it up with like 600 sometimes I just put around 100. Sometimes if I really like 1 artist I'll just fill up my whole iPod with songs by that artist. But that hasn't happened since my Linkin Park/BEP days. :(

Back on Ubuntu

Since this blog kinda got like 60/70 new unique visitors because of my post about Ubuntu (or Kevin Teng... You never know), some of which from countries whose flag I don't even recognize, I've decided to use Ubuntu as my primary OS except for when I'm gaming... Which isn't even that often, considering I only play 1 game which is NBA Live 08.

I'll probably be running Ubuntu on my rig in USA where I can work it better cause my sister has a lot of friends that know computer stuff and maybe I can work this dualboot crap better.

I might actually try my hand at some of these Linux games. They don't look half bad.

Wow.

I came back to check my blog after a while and I saw like this insane amount of different flags on my flag counter. I thought the flag counter must have like fucked up and switched with another website, but there are like the same amount of Hong Kong people that read my blog since I last checked...

Yes people read my blog!

And the key to it was my blog post about Ubuntu!

Well unfortunately for all you Linux geeks, I don't think I'll be blogging about Ubuntu that much because blogging about using a computer is pretty boring. Wow.

This really is weird, because now there are some people that actually read this.

I don't think they'll be reading this again anytime soon, unless you guys really like finding about a 14 year old's life.

But it's pretty interesting I guess. :P

So Mother's Day is coming up soon. In fact it's tomorrow, maybe a little later for those people all the way in USA (I know you're there!). I originally planned to surprise my mom by cooking her dinner, but like a week ago she actually told me "Hey Jordan why don't you cook me dinner for Mother's Day?"

So now I need to like cook dinner for her.

I am actually doing a google search for 'ubuntu blogspot'. I'm on the 19th page and there is no mention of my blog.

How the fuck did you guys get here!?

You know what's even more stupid? I'm actually on Windows right now. Yea. Windows XP!

Ok now I feel pretty bad because my blog actually got some views because of Ubuntu and I'm not even using it.

I'm going to swap back to Ubuntu now.

I'll be right back! :D

Getting ready for Celtics/Hawks Game 7

There's about half an hour left until what could be the greatest upset in NBA history tips off.

The Celtics, a favorite by many to win the NBA Championship, loaded with 3 superstars (or not quite superstars) in Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen along with their key role players Rajon Rondo, Kendrick Perkins, Sam Cassel and James Posey are about to take on the 37 win Atlanta Hawks with shooter Joe Johnson, athletic freak of nature Josh Smith, veteran, streaky shooting point guard Mike Bibby and rookie Al Horford in Game 7 at the TD Banknorth Garden.

Wow.

If the Celtics have a comfortable lead at halftime I'll probably stop watching. If it's a barely double digit lead or low double digits I'll probably keep watching, because you never know with these Hawks. They outscored Boston by 15 in the 4th quarter in Game something. I don't remember.

20 minutes left until tip off. I need a cup of water and I need to pee. I have some darkish chocolate next to me as my boost of caffeine.

I have math first thing tomorrow. Oh well math is pretty stress-free. Just do math for a while and the lesson is over.

Sweet.

Note to self - I must get some full size headphones. All this late-night computer-ing with iPod earbuds really hurts my ears.
