First day of school

So today was my first day of American school. I have a feeling that this blog will be discovered soon so I will not mention any names. Not that I know any names, seeing as I have no friends here.

awww :(

Anyway today was a slightly different day and tomorrow will be as well. I had all my subjects today. For you noobies that are curious I take Photography (because I am now a cool artsy person), World History (AKA History), Contemporary Writing (AKA English), PE, Chinese, Chemistry (HONORS!!) and uh... 'Algebra2/Trigonometry Honors' (AKA Math). Don't my subjects sound all cool and fancy? :D

So the first lesson I had was Photography. It was pretty cool and since this is the highest chance my blog will be discovered since there is this photo blog I will say she is awesome and amazing. Ok. But she's pretty cool. She's new to the school as well and she's like a pro photographer with her own website. So that will be interesting.

Second lesson was World History. I had to take this with Freshmen cause I wasn't here last year. I'm not really sure why I need to do that because I think if I take history with Sophomores it will be the same. I have no idea. Whatever. I haven't learnt anything yet but I got this hugeass textbook which luckily I don't have to bring to school. I never really liked History but looks like I will have to do it. Noooooooooooo.

Third lesson was contemporary writing (ENGLISH!!) It was ok. Nothing too special so far. I got homework and there's like this thing called 'turnitin.com' that I have to hand my work in to but I don't know how that works.

The fourth lesson was PE! There were like a couple hundred people gathered into one gym (the gym is badass I count 10 basketball hoops and like the walls and stuff are painted with GUNN and stuff.) And there was like a bit of introduction to the different stuff.

Fifth lesson was Chinese. I kind of cheated and I pretended my Mandarin wasn't too good so I can stay in that class instead of like doing Spanish or something harder. HEHE :D

Sixth lesson was Chemistry. The teacher is awesome! He's like a gamer and he has like all these XBOX/Halo/Guitar Hero stuff all over his room and he burned a gummy bear in some dangerous acid thing. He's really funny. :)

And the last lesson was Math. The teacher looks like the guy from What The Buck show and he was from Texas and he writes numbers kinda funny, but I think I'll do ok in Math unlike what my test scores suggest.

So all the lessons seemed ok. I just need to get used to some of the new stuff.

The school is all pimped out with Macs and all the desks had chairs built into them kinda like the old ICT desks that they threw away. But yea. I think nearly all computers I've seen at this school so far are Macs. Such Mac loyalists. Or it might be because apparently Steve Jobs lives here. Or so it says in the Wikipedia article.

Anyway, have fun reading this Chris. And tell Nick to read it he promised he would read it.

Oh the lunch here is so bad I paid $4.25 American and I got a slice of pizza and a small carton of reduced fat chocolate milk. YAY!

Holy Shit!

I just did a Math Placement test for my new school and I got 70% for Algebra and 50% for Geometry.

That's a new personal low!

:)

As you can see I have not really been committing to my blog much. Maybe i'll do more later when I start school so all of you (which is no one really. Maybe Chris if you're still here.) can see how I'm doing. I just got GTA4 for my PS3... It's pretty fun so far but then it's like really not much different from the others except the graphics are insanely good.

I finished assembling all of the furniture in the house (go me) and right now I'm sitting on the floor blogging with my sister's friend's Macbook (...) and eating Hawaiian food with my PS3 turned on on my 37 inch TV.

GTA4 is a fun game. It's kind of hard to play cause there might be a super swear word bit or sex bit coming up but yea. It's fun so far. I'm waiting for NBA 2k9 to come out.

I miss Hong Kong. It's weird how you can't just go home. This 20 year old apartment (which looks very nice) is my home. I can not just find some of my Hong Kong friends and be like hi let's be friends. No you can not do that. Because they are on the other side of the world.

I gave up on Warcraft 3. Well I haven't really. I might play it sometimes. I haven't even installed it on my computer but I installed NBA Live 06 already. :P which is a pretty crap game. I can't use my PC right now because I infected it with some malware crap that I bought over with my iPod (i put my files on it) and then it kinda spread then it got some key windows files then the spyware thing detected it and deleted it. Whoops.

So now I'm waiting for a Windows XP disk to save it. I have this deepass papercut on my finger. :(

Yea.

Whatever. No one reads this anyway.

Bye!

New post... In USA.

So I haven't updated my blog in a while. No I hvae not been playing Warcraft everyday. I kinda got bored of it. Anyway I'm in USA now. A couple of guys sent me off at the airport (thanks guys :D) and then I got on the plane.

At the boarding gate there were like so many Indians there must've been like 80% Indians I had to check to make sure I was going to San Francisco in case it was a flight to New Delhi or somewhere. So when I got on the plane I had to sit next to this Saddam Hussein look-a-like who kinda smelled bad.

So here I am in USA. I look kind of lost. It's pretty weird. Like I don't know what clothes I'm supposed to wear cause a lot of the brands are too white and some of them are too black. What the hell are clothes for Asian boys!?

But yea it's definitely different. I can just be kinda me and be so cool in Hong Kong but in USA I fee like I'm at the bottom of the food chain. People hang out in race groups. There's like a bunch of Mexican dudes together the Indian dudes stick together the white guys stick together and the black guys and all their homies stick together. And dude why do all the Asian guys have shaved heads!? Do I need to shave my head too!?

I have like a week or 2 left until school starts and you know I'm kind of looking forward to it to see how it turns out.

Graaaaaaaaaaaah

Ok.

I'm just waiting for the 100m hurdles thing then I'll go to sleep.

Oh I got a Sansa Clip :D

Hi

Nearly a month since my last post. Wow. In like 1 week I'll be on a plane going to USA and saying good bye to this amazing city that gets to be listed as a country like all the other countries. Aw man I'll miss Hong Kong and everybody I know here so much! I want to buy a I *Heart* HK T-Shirt. But like I'm never bothered to. But I really should.
