First day of school

So today was my first day of American school. I have a feeling that this blog will be discovered soon so I will not mention any names. Not that I know any names, seeing as I have no friends here.

awww :(

Anyway today was a slightly different day and tomorrow will be as well. I had all my subjects today. For you noobies that are curious I take Photography (because I am now a cool artsy person), World History (AKA History), Contemporary Writing (AKA English), PE, Chinese, Chemistry (HONORS!!) and uh... 'Algebra2/Trigonometry Honors' (AKA Math). Don't my subjects sound all cool and fancy? :D

So the first lesson I had was Photography. It was pretty cool and since this is the highest chance my blog will be discovered since there is this photo blog I will say she is awesome and amazing. Ok. But she's pretty cool. She's new to the school as well and she's like a pro photographer with her own website. So that will be interesting.

Second lesson was World History. I had to take this with Freshmen cause I wasn't here last year. I'm not really sure why I need to do that because I think if I take history with Sophomores it will be the same. I have no idea. Whatever. I haven't learnt anything yet but I got this hugeass textbook which luckily I don't have to bring to school. I never really liked History but looks like I will have to do it. Noooooooooooo.

Third lesson was contemporary writing (ENGLISH!!) It was ok. Nothing too special so far. I got homework and there's like this thing called 'turnitin.com' that I have to hand my work in to but I don't know how that works.

The fourth lesson was PE! There were like a couple hundred people gathered into one gym (the gym is badass I count 10 basketball hoops and like the walls and stuff are painted with GUNN and stuff.) And there was like a bit of introduction to the different stuff.

Fifth lesson was Chinese. I kind of cheated and I pretended my Mandarin wasn't too good so I can stay in that class instead of like doing Spanish or something harder. HEHE :D

Sixth lesson was Chemistry. The teacher is awesome! He's like a gamer and he has like all these XBOX/Halo/Guitar Hero stuff all over his room and he burned a gummy bear in some dangerous acid thing. He's really funny. :)

And the last lesson was Math. The teacher looks like the guy from What The Buck show and he was from Texas and he writes numbers kinda funny, but I think I'll do ok in Math unlike what my test scores suggest.

So all the lessons seemed ok. I just need to get used to some of the new stuff.

The school is all pimped out with Macs and all the desks had chairs built into them kinda like the old ICT desks that they threw away. But yea. I think nearly all computers I've seen at this school so far are Macs. Such Mac loyalists. Or it might be because apparently Steve Jobs lives here. Or so it says in the Wikipedia article.

Anyway, have fun reading this Chris. And tell Nick to read it he promised he would read it.

Oh the lunch here is so bad I paid $4.25 American and I got a slice of pizza and a small carton of reduced fat chocolate milk. YAY!
